AHA! Spay and Neuter Program
Affordable Spay and Neuter Services for Pets and Ferals
This program offers spay and neuter surgery plus selected vaccines to animal guardians at affordable rates. All services are performed by a licensed veterinarian and his professional staff in a brand new, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic.
To book your surgery, please review the information below and then call 847-960-8689 (extension #1) and leave your name and number. A program volunteer will call you back to book your surgery. Drop off time is between 8:00–9:00 AM, and pick up is the same day between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. You will need to complete some simple paperwork, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early. All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must be leashed.
Pricing • Cats
Clinic days are Fridays.
Cats male and female • $50 includes spay or neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines
Optional services available for your pet cat (on day of surgery only are)
- Microchip $20
- Post-surgery pain meds $15
Other services that may apply on day of surgery are:
- Extra fee if cat is in heat: $20
- Extra fee if cat is pregnant: $20
Pricing • Dogs
Clinic days are Fridays.
- up to 25 lbs. – $85 (includes rabies vaccine)
- 25 lbs. to 80lbs. – $95 (includes rabies vaccine)
- over 80 lbs. – $110.00 (includes rabies vaccine)
Optional services available with surgery and on surgery day only are:
- Canine distemper vaccine $15
- Microchip $20
- Nail trim $10
- Pain meds $15
Other services that may apply on day of surgery are

- Extra fee if dog is pregnant: $20
